Genius Hour - Evan Bartek
Last Wednesday, for genius hour, I brainstormed what I should do for my project. I initially wanted to do something that I could do on my computer so I narrowed down my ideas to a couple. My first Idea was to create some kind of project with Python (a coding language), but then I realized that I could not download the idle platform that I am familiar with so I skipped over that idea. I filled out the brainstorming sheet further and then thought about doing something with music or making a video. preferring music, I brainstormed projects that relate to music and I came up with: creating a song from scratch, making a music video, or making a parody of an already existing song. I am already familiar with a music making software called LMMS but I do not know a lot of the basic usages of the software. But of course this program does not run on Chrome OS and I was planning to use LMMS for creating a song and making a parody. This left one option for me to go with which was a music video. I thought about different music videos I could do and decided an acapella of an already existing song would be a fun and challenging thing to do. I would be able to record the song at home and write the song out and edit the video at school. So, in summary, I narrowed my idea down to an acapella music video of an already existing song that I can work on at school and at home.
It would be very helpful if you guys could comment some song suggestions for me to (possibly) use.
